We celebrate 30 years of service in this special edition of our 2015 Annual Report! With the support of our generous donors and volunteers, Christ House served 237 patients in 2015. We are grateful for all who joined us in providing comprehensive and compassionate health care to sick, homeless men in the District of Columbia in 2015 and since our founding.
I am so pleased that I happened to visit your site this morning and discovered that you are celebrating your 30th anniversary this month! I would like to share your story with our congregation, many of whom are not aware of the wonderful service that Janelle and Allen have provided for all these years! And they grew up in our High Street U M C in Muncie, Indiana! I remember them from when they were part of our youth group before they left for college and ultimately found their life work in Christ House and other services. I especially want our youth group to realize the wonderful story of how members of a previous youth group were inspired to serve so fabulously.
