How would your friends describe you?
They’d say I’m an outgoing person, a people person.
What is your favorite food?
Chicken, baked fish, mac and cheese, and collard greens.
What is your goal for the next year?
To get my own apartment. And when I’m on my own I want to go to fitness classes regularly. I want to manage my diabetes well.
Who would you most like to have dinner with?
Michelle Obama. And I guess Barack too, haha!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d like to go to Bermuda. My sister went down and the picture she brought back were just beautiful.
What is the best compliment that you’ve ever received?
When my boss told me that I was a good team leader and a good worker.
What is your favorite song?
I can’t remember the title of my favorite song, but I really like Ray Charles’s “America the Beautiful.”
Is there a special memory that you’d like to share?
Well, I’d like to share about my time here at Christ House. The people are very courteous and loving. They make sure that you have everything you need and I’m really grateful.

Christ House in WA/DC has inspired me to get involved in our local outreach all the way across the country here in the state of Washington! We have a ministry to those without housing, clothing, food, direction, inspiration, and sometimes mental health challenges! I feel like we are a ‘team’ that is called to serve (‘bloom’) wherever we are ‘planted’ and I am inspired to pray for your life and work, as I hope you will pray for us also!
