What do you do in your role at Christ House?
As an RN, I coordinate patient care, assess patients, administer medications, educate patients about various health topics, and provide emotional support.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
My favorite aspect of my job is being able to watch patients heal, physically and emotionally. I love learning about people and hearing their stories!
What are three words you would use to describe Christ House?
Compassion – Respect – Caring
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a park ranger; I love the outdoors!
Before working at Christ House, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, a tiny country in West Africa. I lived there for two years without electricity or running water. I spoke French and worked on health promotion and gender issues.
What is your favorite meal?
Pasta – I love Italian food.
