This fall, we’ve welcomed two new interns to Christ House. Jessica Castro is an MSW student at The Catholic University of America and Josue is our newest student intern from Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School. We are happy to have their help with a variety of tasks and projects around Christ House.
Thank you to our community partnerships that continue to send incredible interns our way!
Welcome, Jessica and Josue!

My name is Jessica Castro and I am a first year Masters of Social Work student at the Catholic University of America. I will be an intern here at Christ House this year for my program’s field work placement. I am very excited to serve the Christ House community, grow in surrender to God’s will, and learn more about holistic healing through the integration of medical, spiritual, and social healing methods.
I’m originally from Los Angeles, so I’m excited to explore DC and the East Coast during my time here. In my free time, I enjoy going to Mass, praying, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends.

My name is Josue Vasquez, and I’m from Washington, DC.
I attend Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School in Takoma Park as a junior. I am very excited to be part of Christ House and its community. I look forward to growing in my faith and serving others, hoping to make a big impact while I’m here, following Christ’s example. I hope to grow spiritually and that I humble myself.
In my free time, I like to hang out with friends, listen to music, go for walks, and/or work on my business.
